Brahms Hungarian Dances for Clarinet Quartet, Nos. 1, 3, 10

$28.95

These three Hungarian Dances by Johannes Brahms from his 21 Hungarian Dances, WoO 1 were the only ones actually orchestrated by Brahms. This arrangement or his orchestration by Cliff Colnot for clarinet quartet is tricky, yet satisfying for all players. Based on the Hungarian csárdás dance, which is known for its slow-to-whirling-fast tempos, these pieces are perfect either by themselves or played as a set.

Better suited to advanced players, one or more of these pieces would be feasible for a skilled college-level ensemble and No. 3 by itself would work well for high-school level players and above.

Includes Score (34-pgs.) and 5 Parts: Clarinet in E-Flat or Clarinet in B-Flat 1, Clarinet in B-Flat 2, Clarinet in B-Flat 3, Bass Clarinet
